“I am truly humbled to be awarded such a tremendous honour from Huntington University. It is especially meaningful to be joined by some of my family, and to be recognized for my support of the university’s Peruvian Canadian Institute (PCI). Dr. McCormick, who is the Founding President of the PCI, has impressed me with his exceptional leadership of the institute and has worked diligently since it’s official launch in 2020 to create an international forum for activities that foster enhanced relations between Peru and Canada. The institute is a true success story, with strong ties and support within the Canadian and Peruvian governments, and which collaborates with leaders across the globe, engages partners in business and higher education, and has supported many post-secondary students with academic awards. I am proud to be affiliated with Huntington University and will continue to unreservedly support the university, its future initiatives and institutes.”
